The friendly, family run Amadeus Hotel is located in a spectacular old building overlooking the Market Square of the historic town of Haarlem, the city which gave its name to a District of New York when New York was still know ands New Amsterdam. Similarities between the two are few however and while Haarlem does offer an exciting range of bars and restaurants it is a peaceful and tranquil city with a strong sense of history. The Amadeus Hotel is a well-located base for exploring the city and the rest of the country.
