The Hotel & Restaurant De Zon is though to be one of the oldest in the Netherlands and has stood proudly on the banks of the Overijsselse Vecht river, offering a warm welcome to travellers, since 1893. Now, as then, it has a small number of charmingly decorated rooms with ample facilities. Unlike then, however, it now also boats a spa, steam room, solarium anfd Finnish and Turkish baths. Its restaurant specialises in French cuisine but also offers a range of popular international favourite certain to satisfy any palate.
