Hergotenbosch, or ‘Den Bosch’ as it is simply know to many Dutch speakers, is a striking medieval town, most of whose original walls survive. They protect the gothic heart of the city and its many treasures, which include the spectacular Cathedral of St John. The Campanile hotel offers cosy but well-kept accommodation at reasonable prices, an excellent base from which to explore the town.
