January 2006 the hotel changed his owner, and has had an complete renovation. The rooms now are decorated in a nostalgic way. In some rooms you can see the sunset above the dike, in other rooms you have a view at the market, the famous lighthouse, or the mainstreet. ’de Valk’ is situated at the market, right in the centre of the village, only a few steps away from the beach of Westkapelle.
